Child
& Youth
Trafficking Prevention
- A
non-profit European association
entitled "Bulgarian Network for Child & Youth Trafficking
Prevention " is hereby created. BNCYTP will also use the
abbreviation: "BNCYTP"
- BNCYTP
is an international, non-governmental organization, which is
independent, non-partisan, and non-commercial in nature.
- BNCYTP
pledges itself to create and maintain a Bulgarian network that
will make youth trafficking prevention a higher priority on the social,
cultural, and political agenda.
- The
term "Child and Youth Trafficking Prevention" designates in this
document non-profit making activities whose aim is to promote child and youth
trafficking prevention programs via information and media campaigns,
research, educational and community development programs.
"European"
designates the member countries of the European Community, of the Council of
Europe and of the European Free Trade Association.
BNCYTP
which is non-profit making aims:
- To
promote the wide dissemination of information and educational
materials on youth trafficking prevention;
- To
conduct research on youth trafficking in the Bulgarian
region and facilitate establishment of multidisciplinary teams of
experts dedicated to work on youth trafficking prevention.
- To
work out and deliver educational programs on human rights education,
trafficking prevention and all types of specialized educational
resources for youth work with vulnerable communities and groups.
- To
working widely on prevention of migration at risk and forced labour.
- To
facilitate the communication and exchange of information between its
members;
- To
coordinate the activities of member organization in order to make
optimum use of resources in benefit of the communities at risk and the
general public.
- The
life of BNCYTP is not delimited. Each member society remains an
independent body. The financial year will be the year ending the 31st
December from the 1st January.
- BNCYTP
is composed of non-governmental organizations, governmental
institutions, and individuals from around the world.
- BNCYTP
recognizes that the challenge to provide adequate programs on youth
trafficking prevention requires concerted cooperation among
non-governmental groups and organizations, national ministries and
departments of education, and other governmental institutions.
- BNCYTP
will seek to include and establish working relations with international
and regional organizations such as the Council of Europe, the European
Union, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, UNESCO,
the United Nations, and the World Bank.
- The
BNCYTP Association may accept funds, gifts, and dues, and may disburse
awards; measures for carrying out such activities may be specified in
by-laws.
